Fun with the September Updates

Have been spending time in Israel, working on a couple of future projects that may turn out pretty exciting.

'Heavy Soul' got in to the Film Pop Festival in Canada and will screen there in October - Exact date an time should be announced soon, will update once it is.

Also look for an update concerning two articles I wrote for Films In Review, one about V For Vendetta and the other about the new Jayne Mansfield DVD Box-Set. In regards to Films In Review, if you tried to click on the review links on this page lately you may have noticed the site was down, they encountered some server problems and are now back in full force - Check out Roy Frumkes' September editorial for an explanation and some exciting updates (including your chance to win a $1000).

Speaking of the editor of Films In Review - He will be showing two of his films this month at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. Anyone in the area should seriousley check out STREET TRASH and THE MELTDOWN MEMOIRS I will vauch for both.



* In other linkage to make-up for two months of no updates, my good friend Gabi Tartakovski launched a blog in which he discussed pop culture phenomenas from a very unique point of view (a post on Kid 'n' Play for example). If you are a Hebrew reader then head over to - New Framed Memories.

* A recent discovery is one of the best music related blogs around: Pop Junkie.

* YouTube video by my brother and his friends lip-synching Hound Dog - Hillarious.

* And finally - Check the Cool Wax (an excellent vinyl blog) was just updated with the full Jayne Mansfield - "Jayne Busts Up Las Vegas" album in MP3 format. It is priceless and a must listen!
