Shy Nobleman - Girlfriend

Shy Nobleman just released the first single ('Girlfriend') out of his new album, 'Beautiful Life' (due out in July). Shy's band (super group?) in this one is composed of him, Yotam Ben-Horin (Useless ID), Geva Alon (The Flying Baby) and Isaar Tenenbaum (Rockfour).

The music video for 'Girlfriend' was directed by Itai Keshet and can be viewed Right Here.

If you are an Israeli/Hebrew speaking fan then check out a special feature about Nobleman in NRG (which includes a link to your favorite site). And tune is to the "most wanted" show on channel 24 and vote for Shy.

I know what you are asking, when will 'Baby in the Rain' come out. Well, everything in its time, and like Shy's new CD, when it does, it'll knock your socks off.

Elephant Parade

Elephant Parade (the power duo - Ido Fluk and Estelle Baruch) have uploaded their new demo. Check out their site and listen to 4 great tracks - Riding in your Car, Friday Night, For You and Xanax.

Before you know it you'll have to spend your hard earned cash to get it at your local record store. Better get it while it's Free:

'Run On' - Video

Pete Ludovico - Run On

This is not exactly a music video and not exactly a live clip. Look at it as an extended clip from my new short film 'Heavy Soul'

Pete Ludovico, member of the Rockabilly band The Found Cats and previously of Peter and The Wolves, made a cameo in 'Heavy Soul' as Johnny B, the Rockabilly star. As Johnny, he performs his version of 'Run On', from the latest Found Cats album, 'Full Gospel Rockabilly', which is out now on Golly Gee Records

The Surfites

This is my band discovery for the day.

The Surfites hail all the way from Sweden, which is known, amongst other things for its surfing culture.

It is my opinion, that the Surfites are one of the best new surf bands around. You can find a few worthwhile downloads on their Official Site.

New Site, New Blog

I have finally got around updating the site. The new design is up but may keep changing in order to reach the best result possible.

I will not try to define this blog as I am not responsible for the direction it will take. While I will be sure to post any updates that I feel to be important about me and my works (example: "I am currently reading the book 'Dino' by Nick Tosches and thus far, I reached page 40) I will also post different videos or news that I deem important and interesting around the web (example 2: "the new Kylie music video is now on-line"). But... most likely, in between those, I will upload a lot of music, so it may very well turn into an MP3 blog.

The Rocking Oren Blog also supports an RSS feed.

To plug my new works first of all, you should check out the sections for my new, award winning short, 'Heavy Soul'

And the new Shy Nobleman music video I made with Adam Lewensohn, 'Baby in the Rain'

'Beautiful Life' by Shy Nobleman, will be out mid-June. Keep checking for updates and for the full video!

First entry, out.
